Kindness Revealed
As I have grown in my understanding of God, and in my relationship with him over the years, I’ve come to believe something about his nature…
He is kind.
I will have compassion on you with everlasting kindness, says the Lord —Isaiah 54.8 GWT
His kindness is everlasting.
And it’s not a hidden feature. Sometimes the church and his people do a good job of hiding it, but God has revealed his kindness to us.
When God our Savior revealed his kindness and love, he saved us, not because of the righteous things we had done, but because of his mercy.
He washed away our sins, giving us a new birth and new life through the Holy Spirit….
Because of his grace he declared us righteous and gave us confidence that we will inherit eternal life.

I want you to know this: God is kind.
The Gospel is the the story of what God has done to reach us. It is His kindness revealed.
He has given us a place at His table, and we can be confident in that.
