This post on Greg Boyd’s ReKnew website: The Challenge of Malala to the Church. It features Malala Yousafzai‘s appearance on Jon Stewart’s The Daily Show.
At the age of 14, Malala was shot in the face by the Taliban while riding a school bus because she wouldn’t stop speaking up for the right of girls to get the same educational opportunities as boys.

This article from the Red Letter Christians website by Stephen Mattson: Churches Are Like Cities. One of his final questions – “What type of city are you living in?” makes me long for a church that looks like our city.
