Worth Shouting About
Here are some things I read on the internet this past week – and thought they were worth passing on to you. Check ‘em out…
This post (in response to the Strange Fire Conference) from Sarah Bessey. You don’t have to know a thing about the Strange Fire Conference for her words to make an impact on you. Honestly, when I got to the bottom of her post, I was singing “Roar” by Katy Perry.
This post from Sasha Dichter about the Wallet Experiment. It’s based on a study looking at how honest various cities are when it comes to returning lost wallets. Pretty fascinating stuff. Be sure to click on the infograph image for a larger view with the study’s results.
This post from Preston Steinke about the “Act Like Men” conference. As one who has never enjoyed participating in men’s retreats or conferences, I absolutely loved this line from Preston, “My dear brothers, if you want to learn how to act like a man, look at Jesus.”
This post from Behance’s 99u blog about the effects of ego on creativity. The points are definitely worth considering.
QUESTION:
Did you watch or read anything online this week that’s worth sharing? I’d love to get your recommendations – share your favorites below in the comments.
I’m blessed to be married to you. I’ve always been proud of the way you stand up for women and believe in their unique gifts in ministry. The funny thing is that this stance never originated from me. It’s a deep conviction from within you. Thanks for making a place at the table for all of us.
